Course Goal / Objective

To provide information about the concept and scope of clothing technology. To teach the importance of apparel production processes and machinery used in the model design. To provide information on new technologies apparel. To introduce the 3D design of a pre-production garment and virtual fashion show examples.

Course Content

Basic information about ready-made clothing technology, the current situation of ready-made clothing in our country and in the world. Production Flow in Garment. Design, Fashion and Influences. Clothing Design, Design methods used in practice. Production of a Selected Model from Laying to Packaging in Garment. Sewability. Production Machines in Garment. Quality Control in Garment from Laying to Packaging. New Technologies and Innovations in the Ready-made Clothing Industry. CAD/CAM programs, 3D systems. Introduction of Clo -3D design program, garment simulation.
