Course Goal / Objective
In the context of this course, it will be given that as a natural fiber, the success of cotton is directly linked to the land and its health, for the near future to help meet the textile fiber of growing population, advancing technologies and practices of cotton production and manufacturing will be important, without expanding acreage with new methods, innovations, good agronomic practicesand environmental advances how cotton production will be sustainable.
Course Content
The modern cotton industry has achieved significant environmental gains over the past years. Current researches are focused on to develop new ways to grow, process and manufacture cotton more efficiently and with increasingly less impact on the environment. Identifying and implementing new technologies and practices will help the cotton industry meet the current needs for productivity and profit.
