Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to inform students about optical fiber communication systems including different beam transmitter, amplifier and photo receiver blocks.
Course Content
Fiber optic communication system, optical sources, photodetectors, fiber optic waveguides, transmission characteristics of optic fibers, fiber materials, optical fiber losses.
