Course Goal / Objective
It is to bring the veterinarians who will do clinical medicine to a level where they can use the treatment steps by making the necessary diagnostic applications after intervening in the cases falling under the scope of emergency clinical medicine as soon as possible.
Course Content
1. Urgent and critical case, initial evaluation of urgent cases, general examination 2. Emergency approach to patients with cardiovascular system 3. Emergency approach to respiratory patients 4. Approach to gastrointestinal system emergency diseases 5. Emergency diagnosis and treatment approaches to urinary system diseases (uremic crisis, olguria and anuria, acute and chronic renal failure) 6. Diagnosis and emergency treatment principles in poisoning 7. Approach to endocrine and neurological emergencies 8. Emergency approach to diseases of the hematological system 9. Approach to emergency patients exposed to trauma (traumatic hemorrhage, traffic accidents, traumatic shock, abdominal trauma) 10. Approach to patients with pneumothorax, diaphragmatic 11. Emergency interventions for the gastrointestinal tract and urogenital system 12. Approach to patients presenting with gunshot wounds 13. Approach to patients due to falls from height 14.
