Course Goal / Objective
The concept and history of Occupational Health and Safety, international and national legislation, safety culture and safety climate, the relationship between human and public health and occupational health, basic and applied principles in occupational health and safety, workplace environment and risk groups in employees, risk assessment, occupational diseases and protection, occupational accidents and prevention, ergonomics, health of health workers, workplace health services and duties of the occupational health and safety committee.
Course Content
At the end of the spring semester, SHMYO First Year students will have information about the basic issues of occupational health and safety.
