Course Goal / Objective

Being able to learn the chemical structures, chemical and physical properties of water, carbohydrates, amino acids, peptides and proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids and the supra molecules formed by them in the structure of living things, to associate them with their biological functions, to form the basis of associating biochemistry with other branches of science and research and application of biochemistry. to gain interest in their fields.

Course Content

Cells, Biomolecules Water and its vital importance, Amino acids and proteins, Three-dimensional structure and functions of proteins, Enzymes, Enzyme kinetics, Carbohydrates and glycobiology, Lipids, Biological membranes and transport, Nucleotides and nucleic acids.
