Course Goal / Objective
Understanding the basic principle of counting and probability related problems and recognition of distributions
Course Content
The basic principles of counting; permutation, combination; basic concepts in probability theory; Addition and multiplication rule; bayes theorem; random variables; expected value; variance and applications; basic concepts in discrete probability distributions; bernoulli, binomial, polynomial, negative binomial; poisson and hyper geometric distribution and applied studies; basic concepts in constant probability distributions; normal distribution and applied studies
