Course Goal / Objective

To make teacher candidates understand the effect and contribution of classroom management in the preparation of an effective learning environment, and to gain the basic knowledge and skills necessary for effective classroom management.

Course Content

The content of this course includes the basic concepts and titles in classroom management. These are the contents related to classroom discipline and behavior management, together with the subjects including interaction communication in primary education, what classroom management is, different approaches and models in classroom management, classroom rules and their implementation, physical organization of the classroom, management of teaching and time in the classroom.

LO03 Evaluates important people, events and facts in the historical process in terms of their effects on educational practices.
LO04 Uses the scientific knowledge generation process to solve the problems experienced in the field of classroom teaching.
LO05 Elementary 1-5. uses primary school curriculums (Turkish, mathematics, science and technology, social studies, life studies, physical education, music, visual arts, etc.) and the main teaching strategies, methods and techniques used in the teaching of these programs.
LO06 In the light of artistic knowledge, criticizes art products and explains their qualities.
LO07 Uses appropriate methods and techniques for the development of high-level thinking skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking and problem solving in students.
LO08 She plans, implements and evaluates the teaching-learning process, taking into account the developmental characteristics of students, their individual differences and the characteristics of the subject area.
LO09 Evaluates the learning process of students by using different measurement and evaluation methods and techniques.
LO10 Developing appropriate learning materials and using information and communication technologies effectively in this process to create effective teaching-learning processes
LO11 Takes responsibility individually and as a group in solving the problems encountered in classroom teaching practices
