Course Goal / Objective

The relationship between applied irrigation water and the yield obtained from different irrigation systems is described on the different plants.

Course Content

Definition of basic concepts in water-yield relations, relations between transpiration-evaporation-evapotranspiration and yield, estimation of maximum yield and water consumption, relationships between irrigation and yield under full and limited irrigation conditions, optimum irrigation programs for optimum yield and water utilization efficiency
