Course Goal / Objective
To learn the processes of determining the data of the basin, processing and completing the missing data. In addition, to comprehend the process stages of revealing the possible precipitation flow relationships of a basin.
Course Content
River flows, sediment, precipitation and areal precipitation calculation, incomplete data completion, homogeneity tests, probability analysis, regional flood frequency analysis, index analysis, determination of basin morphometric characteristics using topographic maps, synthetic unit hydrographs, best subset analysis, forward and backward extraction methods, multiple regression analysis, generating estimation equations, flow and data estimation for unmeasured fields, method comparison tests.
Course Precondition
To take this course, it is sufficient to be a graduate or doctoral student. There are no other prerequisites.
