Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to cover the synthesis and characterization methods of nanoparticles in detail.

Course Content

Synthesis methods of nanoparticles: sol–gel method, polyol method, hydrothermal method, co-precipitation method, microemulsion technique, chemical vapor deposition etc. Also characterization methods: TEM, SEM, EDS, XRD, Reitveld Refinement analysis, FTIR, Raman, XPS, etc.
