Course Goal / Objective
Within the scope of the course, the objective is for the student to develop their skills in using clay shaping methods and the principles of printing on ceramic surfaces based on the theoretical and practical knowledge they will acquire. Throughout their education within the program, the student is expected to create a graduation project based on the techniques they have learned and the experiences they have gained. The goal is for them to transform the approved design into a product and finalize it for display along with a presentation board.
Course Content
Students gain proficiency in ceramic hand building techniques and create different designs for printing techniques used on ceramic surfaces. The design consists of stages such as research, sketching, technical drawing, computer-aided design, and model maquette construction. One of the presented projects is selected by the course instructor (or by a jury). The production phase begins. Once the project production is completed, it is displayed with a presentation board and is evaluated by the course instructor (or by the established jury).
