Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach general and specific information about the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs and their use in the clinic, to teach the sources, modes of action, usage and doses of drugs that affect body systems, and to gain the skills of correct and rational drug use.

Course Content

The content of this course is the definition and sources of drugs, dosage information, structure-activity relationships between drugs, medicinal chemistry, absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs in the body, modes of action of drugs, dose-concentration and dose-effect relationships, interactions between drugs, factors that change drug effects, adverse effects of drugs, drug resistance and addiction.
