Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach the causes of damage to structures and repair-strengthening methods. Students are provided with the skills to analyze structural damage, determine appropriate repair techniques and apply strengthening methods. Evaluation of damage caused by earthquakes, material fatigue and environmental effects is addressed and solutions are presented to increase the safety of existing structures.
