Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to teach the basic structure of volleyball, game dynamics and training processes. Students will gain knowledge and experience in physical preparation, technical and tactical skills, training organization and practical exercises to improve volleyball performance. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to the development of coordination, endurance, flexibility and strategic thinking skills of athletes. At the end of the course, students will become competent in planning, implementing and analyzing volleyball training.

Course Content

This course aims to comprehensively cover the basic structure, game dynamics and training processes of volleyball. Technical and tactical elements of volleyball, performance factors and training planning will be examined in detail. Practical exercises on basic volleyball elements such as physical preparation, skill development, serving, serving reception, setting, offense, block and defense will be practiced. In addition, topics such as stretching, practice organization and advantage balls will be covered to improve students' volleyball skills. At the end of the course, students will gain competence in planning and practicing volleyball training.
