Course Goal / Objective

To teach and develop scientific evidence-based methods and techniques for special physical activities in order to protect public health, to understand the requirements of effective and safe physical activity for all segments of the society, and to create sensitive health professionals.

Course Content

Recognizing health-related components of fitness, health screenings and risk classifications, effective measurement of physical activity, evaluation principles, sedentary life and chronic diseases, evaluation and planning of physical activity programs, preparing exercise programs, following and evaluating norms regarding health and fitness
