Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce plant science and to understand the structure and functioning of plant cells, tissues and organs, as well as the mechanism of seed formation.

Course Content

In this course, introduction to botany and classification of botany, general and special structure of the cell and cell division; meristematic and consitent tissues are described. In addition, the classification of plants, the structure and functions of the plant's roots, stems, leaves and flowers are detailed. In addition, reproduction in plants and a general perspective on plant physiology, as well as evolution in plants, are discussed.
