Course Goal / Objective
At the end of this course, it is aimed that the student develops technical knowledge in the planning/management of land use, natural resources, environment, transport, urban vehicles and all structures within the framework of Landscape Architecture discipline. In addition, it is aimed to store/integrate/analyse and display large volumes of geo-referenced data or spatial data, digitised maps, aerial photographs, satellite images, statistical tables related to the earth.
Course Content
Map projections, interpretation of maps, cartography, georeferenced data, GPS, spatial analysis (point pattern, network, surface, interpolation, single layer, multi layer and overlay analysis) and spatial modelling
