Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable the students to gain knowledge and develop skills in identifying differences between qualitative and quantitative methods, characteristics of qualitative and qualitative methods, aims and types of mixed method research in sports sciences, preparation for and conducting observational and interview study and sample selection.
Course Content
The course covers basic concepts such as science, scientific method and research, identifying a problem and stating it in the research; Writing a research hypotesis, Liiterature review techniques; mixed research design and data collection techniques.
