Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide Physics department students with the basic concepts of statistical physics and interpretation skills.
Course Content
In this course, Statistical distributions, Random walk and probability distributions, Statistical description of mechanical problems, Interactions between macroscopic systems, Equilibrium states and thermodynamic processes, Thermal interaction between macroscopic systems, Thermodynamic parameters, Measurement of thermodynamic parameters, Diffuse and Dense parameters, State equations, Ideal Properties of gases, Thermodynamic functions, Maxwell relations, Heat engines and coolers are covered.
