Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills about the main components, operating principles and structures of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Course Content
History of electric and hybrid vehicles, Structure of typical electric vehicles, Basic electrical principles, Comparison of electric vehicles and internal combustion engine vehicles, Batteries in electric vehicles, Battery charging systems, Electric vehicle charging modes and connector types, Electric motor types and propulsion system, Hybrid vehicles, Hybrid vehicle types, Batteries in hybrid vehicles, Propulsion systems in hybrid vehicles, Fuel cell systems
