Course Goal / Objective

To gain basic material knowledge and the ability to perform material selection and inspection.

Course Content

Materials Used in Motor Vehicles, Classification of Materials, Structure of the Atom, Interatomic Bonds, Unit Cage Types, Physical Properties of Materials, Mechanical Properties of Materials, Classification of Materials, Properties of Iron Materials, Destructive Material Inspection, Non-Destructive Material Inspection
