Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to develop students' preparation techniques and skills.
Course Content
In this course, preparation and examination techniques of fresh preparations, preparation of some vital dyes, preparation of permanent preparations, Narcotization-Fixation, Some fixative formulas, Dehydration-Translucency; Depositing the materials in paraffin and preparing the paraffin blocks; Painting of sections (Preparation of paints and painting techniques); Assembly process of the preparations; Types of microscopes used in the laboratory: Classical Light Microscope - Dark Field Microscope, Phase-Contrast Microscope - Interference Microscope, Polarizing Microscope - Ultraviolet Microscope, Fluorescence Microscope - Electron Microscope.
