Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the student topics such as the structure of macromolecules, their analysis, repair systems, proteomics, genomics and antisense oligonucleotide method and molecular typing.

Course Content

In this course, DNA structure and replication, DNA replication enzymes, DNA sequence analysis, Restriction endonuclease enzymes, Protein isolation techniques and purification, DNA and Protein Analysis Techniques Agarose gel electrophoresis, PAGE, isoelectric focusing, two-dimensional electrophoresis, gradient PAGE, DNA repair mechanisms SOS , Excision, Photoreactivation, Post replicative repair, Proteomics, Genomics, Gene therapy and used methods, Antisense oligonucleotide technology, Recombinant vaccines, Recombinant DNA and Recombinant Virus vaccines are covered.
