Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course; To comprehend the basic principles of medical terminology, to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies to distinguish, pronounce correctly, write and use medical terms related to the movement system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, central nervous system, circulatory system, urogenital system and other organs.
Course Content
Has theoretical knowledge about medical terminology. Can comprehend the spelling, reading and meanings of the basic elements of medical terminology. He/she can evaluate the situation by comprehending the medical terms of the systems. He critically evaluates the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field of medical terminology and has a lifelong learning awareness. Professional competence: Able to use the language of medical terminology adequately as a common language in communication with both his colleagues and other health personnel in the health institutions and organizations where he provides services in the field of health.
