Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide information about the industrial applications of Biotechnology, its use and applications, innovations and future goals, and the products produced and to teach these subjects.

Course Content

In this course, history of industrial biotechnology, industrial system biology, fermentation technology, directed evolution of industrial biocatalysts, industrial production of enzymes, nanobiotechnology, downstream processes in industrial biotechnology, industrial biotechnological applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, industrial biotechnological applications in the food and feed industry, paper and pulp industry. Information will be given on topics including industrial biotechnological applications, industrial biotechnological applications in the paper and pulp industry, and Biofuel (production and applications).
