Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to teach the physiological effects of scab on fruit trees, to explain the importance of pruning in aquaculture, and how to transfer the acquired knowledge into practice.
Course Content
Pruning and purposes in fruit trees, physiological principles of pruning, summer pruning and productivity relationships, ABA accumulation and pruning relationships, rootstocks and pruning, classical pruning methods, modern pruning techniques, planting systems and pruning methods accordingly, rootstock pen relationships, alternative pruning systems, Pruning methods according to fruit types are discussed.
