Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to make students have a basic knowledge of basic economics and to establish the basic theoretical framework of micro and macro economics.

Course Content

This course examines the basic concepts, tools and methods of economics. Supply and demand analysis, consumer and firm behavior theories are examined. Full competition, monopoly, such as the effects of different market competition on the distribution of resources are examined. General equilibrium, welfare and basic concepts of public economy are discussed.
