Course Goal / Objective
The aim is to develop the ability to apply various efficiency analysis techniques using software packages.
Course Content
Productivity and efficiency concepts, focusing on efficiency analysis. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods are examined, evaluating input- and output-oriented models within the CCR and BCC frameworks. The solution of models using LINGO software is explored, and relative efficiency measurement is conducted. The Malmquist Total Factor Productivity Index and Kurosawa productivity models are analyzed to assess alternative efficiency analysis methods. The AIPR and HWLAP models, along with the Jackson and Petterson approach, are studied to apply various productivity analysis techniques.
