Course Goal / Objective

The main purpose of this course is to examine the fiscal policies implemented in the national and global context, to analyze and evaluate the implementation and results in transition economies, developed and developing countries.

Course Content

In this course, the aims, instruments, types of fiscal policy and what kind of fiscal policy should be used to achieve economic, social and other purposes, its effectiveness in closed and open economies will be discussed in comparison with monetary policy. In addition, the characteristics of the fiscal policies of Turkey, transition economies and other countries will be presented and comparisons will be made.
