Course Goal / Objective

The course aims to teach design theories from the neoclassical period to the industrial revolution and 20th century art movements in line with the teachings of architectural history, to students of the architecture department, to examine the effects of modernization and industrialization on architecture, and to raise awareness of the relationship between social, political and technical values ​​and architectural production.

Course Content

The content of the course consists of Neoclassical Architecture, Industrial Revolution and Metal Construction, Eclectic Period, Art Grafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and 20th century architectural movements and the architectural process up to the present day.
