Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to increase the knowledge of students about building energy performance regulations in Turkey and the world, current green building certification programs, and to provide basic level learning of energy simulation (Insight energy analysis (Revit add-on) and Equest) programs, and to provide skills in geometric modeling and simulation.

Course Content

This course provides an in-depth exploration of Design Builder software for building design and performance simulation. Students will learn how to utilize Design Builder to model, analyze, and optimize building designs, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability. The course includes practical exercises, real-world case studies, and project work to apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
