Course Goal / Objective

To enable students to analyze fundamental questions in linguistics, compare approaches to these questions, and engage in critical discussions on these topics.

Course Content

This course addresses key questions emerging in the field of linguistics. It covers the definition of language, methods for investigating language, the relationship between language and the mind, the connection between language and communication, and current approaches to these topics.
