Course Goal / Objective

The main aim of this course is to explain the inter-primates, interpersonal, human and domestic animal and spatial bonds within the framework of attachment theories.

Course Content

Definition and Basic Elements of Attachment Theory, Theoretical foundations of attachment theory (Freud, Erikson, Harlow, Darwin, Lorenz, Tinbergen, Bowlby ve Ainsworth), Marry Ainsworth and the strange situation test, Formation of Attachment, Types of Attachment, Attachment of Children's Genders and Lives, Some Factors Affecting Children's Attachment, Long-Term Effects of Attachment, Attachment related measurement tools, Investigation of the research done related to attachment, Selection of a problem area for attachment and development of the proposal, Application and reporting of a research on attachment
