Course Goal / Objective
In this course, the student is aimed to learn the sources, modes of action, uses and dosages of drugs that affect body systems (hormonal system, respiratory system, digestive system), to understand nutritional pharmacology (vitamins, minerals, substances that accelerate growth), chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs that affect protozoa and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants), and to gain the skill of correct and conscious drug use.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of autonomic and central nervous system, cardiovascular system drugs, hormonal system pharmacology, fluid-electrolyte and acid-base system pharmacology, respiratory system pharmacology, digestive system pharmacology, nutritional pharmacology, chemotherapeutic drugs (antibiotics, anthelmintics, drugs affecting protozoa and fungi, antiseptics and disinfectants).
