Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to provide an understanding of pathophysiological processes of diseases encountered in veterinary medicine, comprehend the cause-effect relationships of diseases, evaluate host-pathogen and drug-drug/drug-organism interactions, and teach preventive medicine approaches for early diagnosis and treatment.

Course Content

This course covers pathophysiological processes in acute, subclinical, chronic, and clinical stages of diseases, changes in cellular signaling pathways, mechanisms of metabolic diseases, homeostasis regulatory systems, host-pathogen, and drug interactions. Additionally, early diagnosis and treatment approaches in preventive medicine will be discussed.
