Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to teach the etiology, clinical findings, medical and surgical treatment methods of oral and dental diseases in animals, as well as to provide information about preventive treatments and to ensure that the acquired knowledge is effectively transferred to clinical practice.
Course Content
This course includes understanding the anatomy and physiology of teeth in cats and dogs, examination of the oral cavity and teeth, all the details of dental radiography, surgical techniques of oral and dental diseases, evaluation of etiology and clinical findings of periodontal diseases, treatment of periodontal diseases, definition of endodontic and periapical diseases, application of restorative treatment and filling methods, and principles of diagnosis and treatment of oral neoplasms.
