Course Goal / Objective

Teaching the basic principles of mechanics

Course Content

Physics and measurement, vectors, motion in one dimension, plane motion, particle dynamics, work and energy, conservation of energy, dynamics of particle systems, linear momentum and collision, kinematics of rotation, rotation of a rigid body about a fixed axis, equilibrium of rigid bodies, gravity.
