Course Goal / Objective

To teach the technological applications of high temperature (HTc) superconductivity used in today's technology

Course Content

High Temperature Superconducting families, Electrical, magnetic, thermal and mechanical properties of high temperature superconductors, Effects of doping of rare earth and transition metals to high temperature superconductors, Superconducting magnets, Wire making, Electrical power applications, Refrigeration, Capacity and current limitations, Levitation, Flywheel, Energy Storage, electric motors, and other applications
