It is to contribute to the students' safety by recognizing professional mistakes and ensuring patient and employee safety during their education and working life.
Course Content
Malpractice, Conceptual Framework, Malpractice Specific Definitions, Patient Rights, Health Worker Rights, Patient Safety, Health Worker Safety, Defects and Liability, Legal Responsibilities of Healthcare Professionals, Incident Reporting, Malpractice-Complication Distinction, Medical Malpractice and Risk Management, Malpractice Frequently Encountered by midwives Situations, Professional Liability Insurance, Sample Cases and Analysis
