Course Goal / Objective

The general aim of the classroom management course is to discuss the importance of classroom management in the education system, to examine the basic strategies, principles and dimensions of classroom management and to develop effective management skills.

Course Content

Basic principles and concepts related to classroom management, variables affecting classroom management, establishment of classroom rules, classroom management models, discipline and disciplinary approaches in the classroom, physical organization of the classroom environment, management of student behavior in the classroom, communication and interaction process in the classroom, student motivation in the classroom, time management in the classroom, teacher as a leader in the classroom, establishment of a positive classroom and learning climate
