Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is Introduction to the academic studies in Contemporary Turkish Literature, discussing the methods and contextual characteristics of the academic studies, information about necessary sources for studies in the field
Course Content
The content of this course is a general sight to history of academic publications in contemporary Turkish literature, academicians doing scientific research in the field, Tanpınar and his studies about the field, method and contextual features of 19. century Turkish literature history, Mehmet Kaplan and his contributions to the field, analysis of Mehmet Kaplans study called Tevfik Fikret, academic studies of Kenan Akyüz, analysis of Kenan Akyüzs study called Tevfik Fikret, academic studies of Gündüz Akıncı, analysis of Gündüz Akıncıs study called Abdülhak Hamit Tarhan, academic studies of İnci Enginün, analysis of İnci Enginüns study called Halide Edib Adıvarın Eserlerinde Doğu ve Batı Meselesi, asessment of academic studies of Zeynep Kerman.
