Course Goal / Objective

The objective of the course is to equip the students with specialized knowledge in the field of foreign language policy and practice at all levels of education and to help them acquire skills for research.

Course Content

Foreign language planning at macro level and micro level implementation of language policy; foreign language policy at primary and secondary education in Turkey and other countries; globalization and language teacher education policy in Turkey; teacher agency in educational change English medium instruction in Turkey and across the world
