Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to understand the basic principles and laws of electrochemistry and to teach the application areas of electrochemistry.
Course Content
Electrochemical terminology, general information, ions, electrolyte solution, electrical conductivity and measurement, Faraday laws, chemical potential, activity, activity constant, ionic strength, electrolyte equilibrium, ionization constants, dissociation, standard electrode potential, half-cell potential, batteries and electrolysis systems , Nernst equation, batteries and electrolysis applications, electrocatalysts are the content of this course.
