Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of this course is to provide a general understanding of professional concepts and theories related to family counseling, techniques and methods related to family counseling.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the following topics; Family as a system: The importance of the family in our lives, definition of the family, family system, healthy family, unhealthy family, family life cycle, psychoanalytic family counseling, structured family counseling, experiential family counseling, cognitive-behavioral family therapy, solution focused family therapy, narrative family therapy, family therapy in the twenty-first century and so on.
