Course Goal / Objective
Explain the use of additive manufacturing methods in mechanical engineering applications.
Course Content
Introduction to Rapid Prototyping (RP). Rapid Prototyping techniques; Stereolithography (SLA), Fused-Deposition Modeling (FDM), Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), 3D Printing (3DP), and other methods. RP equipments. Applications of RP technologies.
