Course Goal / Objective
To comprehend the research methods in social sciences, especially in Islamic history and arts, and to have researcher ethics
Course Content
definition of social sciences, definitions of knowledge and science, definitions of history, literature and art, basic characteristics of researcher identity, general research methods and nature, source knowledge, source research differences, subject selection, creating a research universe, determining sources and research, source criticism, layered information theory, study/ research shaping, classification logic and nature, content creation, introduction to research, segmentation and result generation techniques, bibliography preparation, footnote knowledge, ethical principles in research
