Course Goal / Objective
To have a comprehensive knowledge of the history of the Four Caliphs and the Umayyad periods from political, social and cultural perspectives and to know the basic sources and modern studies written on them.
Course Content
The reflections of the political events that occurred during the Four Caliphs and the Umayyad periods on socio-cultural life will be evaluated, the social, cultural and religious developments that arose accordingly will be analyzed, the political activities and effects of ideological structures and their reflections on the present day will be interpreted by considering.
