Course Goal / Objective
To understand fundamentals of Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ), To understand Specifications of Convertors, To understand characteristic, and limitation of the sensors, to understand D/A convertor architectures, to understand A/D convertor architectures.
Course Content
Fundamentals of Data Acquisition Systems(DAQ), Specifications of convertors, Sensors, Signal Conditioning, DAQ hardware, Digital to Analog Convertors, Active and passive support components, low cost analog to digital conversion techniques with microcontroller, Single- and Multislope A/D conversion techniques, Successive Approximation A/D converters, Flash A/D Convertors, Delta-Sigma A/D Convertors, System Error Analysis and Control
