Course Goal / Objective
Material life cycle is defined as a process and covers the stages of obtaining the raw material, production, construction, use, destruction and post-destruction. In this respect, it is aimed to examine the economic, environmental and design effects of different end-of-life scenarios of building products.
Course Content
It is aimed to discuss the concept of material with a multi-layered understanding by discussing the supply of raw materials, production processes, usage patterns in design and end-of-life scenarios that form the origin of construction materials.
Course Precondition
